4/8/07  New personalized Letterhead was e-mailed to the Doctors on Sunday.  Please use it in place of your old letterhead.  Make sure your staff can access it.  I will not post it on the web because the site is not password protected

The HRA summary booklet is available for download

4/3/07   We have actually gotten our Medicare number, thanks to Craig Fleury and Mindy.  Now we have to go through electronic submission approval, which may take up to 3 weeks but we hope Craig can hurry it up. We hope to be submitting electronically before the end of the month.

Go to Health Reimbursement Plan Page

2/24/07   A MAUI subweb is now on the site for patients' use.  It includes staff, printable directions to MAUI, and a description of several minor procedures.

There is also a tab in the left border for Urologic Procedures.

o       CareFirst HMO patients without Out-of-Plan benefits can:

§        Sign a waiver and accept full responsibility for their charges, non-reimbursable by insurance.

§        Be seen for free

§        Go elsewhere

o       Be very kind to patients as they are caught in the middle and be sure to explain that we have done everything reasonable to contract with CareFirst but they are intransigent.

§        Tell them to call their insurance reprentative

·        If you have a CareFirst or Medicare-Carefirst patient who needs an LH-RH, Trelstar, Lupron etc. shot talk to your doctor as he has to make special arrangements for them

Check this website every morning, and during the day.  It is the only fast way we have of disseminating critical information.
