Sang Ho Rhee, M.D. was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He came to the U.S when he was 16 years old and attended Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. He received BS in Biology and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He received his MD degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he was actively involved in volunteer work for underprivileged community. He also did medical school rotation at Samsung University in Seoul, Korea and had exposure to different culture of medicine in other country.
His passion for women’s health made him pursue Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Abington Memorial Hospital. After residency training, he was motivated to improve quality of life of women and did Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Dr. Rhee had extensive training in a wide variety of cases including abdominal, vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic pelvic reconstructive surgeries and other complex cases such as genitourinary fistula repair, urethral diverticulum. He puts great emphasis on patient physician relationship and values his time with patients. Dr. Rhee has special interest in female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, female sexual dysfunction, genitourinary fistulas.
Dr Rhee is happily married to his wife, Munsook and has 2 children, Michelle and Ryan. His hobbies include skiing, singing, and running. He loves spending time with his family.
