4/8/07 New personalized Letterhead was e-mailed to you Sunday. Please use it in place of your old letterhead. Make sure your staff can access it. I will not post it on the web because the site is not password protected
4/3/07 We have actually gotten our Medicare number, thanks to Craig Fleury and Mindy. Now we have to go through electronic submission approval, which may take up to 3 weeks but we hope Craig can hurry it up. We hope to be submitting electronically before the end of the month.
2/27/07 A thunderstorm begins with a single raindrop. We, (MAUA) has received the first two checks from insurance companies.
2/24/07 A MAUI subweb is now on the site for patients' use. It includes staff, printable directions to MAUI, and a description of several minor procedures. There is also a tab in the left border for Urologic Procedures.
2/21/07 If you use Google desktop you are in violation of HIPPA because Google desktop loads ALL your files into Google backup. Putting lots of personal information on the web. Please remove google desktop from your MAUA computers.
2/2/07 Zoonie tells me that some paper claims have gone out and that a trial batch of electronic claims is going out Monday to the clearing house. We expect to be submitting electronic claims to the big 4 insurers, except Medicare (no numbers yet) by next Friday or the following Monday

1/5/07 We have verbal confirmation that Care First has signed the contract that we submitted (NO HMO'S) We have not yet gotten written confirmation but we believe their verbal is reliable. So you can probably start seeing CareFirst patients again. We will have to "bank" the forms until we get a user ID in several weeks (Same as others)
